  • If Eric Ripert says that your seafood is good, then it must be good.

  • I live in Chicago, went to the an ok culinary school, have had great meals in the finest restaurants in the US....Chicago is known for second class food. We do food well, and don't get the credit.

  • Um amigo me propiciou um jantar dos deuses no L2O semana passada, simplesmente um menu dos deuses !!!

  • @Chaucer129 absolutely one of my favorite episodes on no reservations.

  • As a chef for over 16 years and co-hosting a primetime major market television for over 6 years as one of it's Chef's I can tell you that it isn't about the celebrity aspect that drives these guys. As I don't let the lights get to me I let the ability to inspire be the engine of my creation. If I spent time posting videos about cooking I would become bored with it. It is about the dish and perfecting it then inspiring others. Videos aren't the way. Bourdain Ripert are great chefs but Ramsay Bo

  • Bourdain is such a layer.

  • @Lach1234 They are basically like brothers now...lol. You should see the episode of Ripert working the grill at Les Halles with Tony. He's so calm while Tony is complaining and talking nonstop. lol

  • L20 is like Nobu ? LOL Japan has lots of Michelin stars so theirs hope with Italy to get over that Michelin is French only Syndrome

  • Im curious if you have ever eaten his food, or at his restaurant

  • @themattampa Where the hell have you been? I didn't know about Tony's later life, but always thought he was a fraud/TV media creation. Emril did confront him though, way before they met on TV. Tony talked about it in a interview. I don't know why he'd back off on Ray, other than the fact that he doesn't want to offend potential customers. That just comes off as gutless and "TV soft." My teams suck this year btw.

  • @dabearcub He still talks smack about people, but not as vehement as he used to be. He's even let up on Rachael Ray. Emeril never "confronted" him, just went on NoRes. Tony admitted previous slights, but also repect for Emeril as a chef and restaurateur, being both professional and honest. My suggestion is to, like Tony, find something to care about, and work to become as good as you can at it, then maybe you'll enjoy life more. Or you could just go back to jerking off to your fav sports teams.

  • @dabearcub I guess I should take your opinions seriously since you're 90 (according to your profile) and not the pathetic, immature teenager your posts suggest. The very old do know their food after all. Everything you say is wrong, but I don't have the room to discuss each item. The best I can do is try to help you better understand people. As we get older, some of us mature and become more reasonable, as did Tony, who stopped smoking and mellowed after getting married and having a kid.
