  • does anyone know the name of the protection on their feet?

  • @CaioPUA They are called anklets or ankle wraps. The really don't protect anything.

  • @CyrusWashington If you have some soreness they can help a little bit but they help to keep stability as well.

  • @JohnnyandNicoleTV I think they are professional muay thai fighters, but on the other hand, the real original muay thai fighters don't know the spinning kicks from TKD, most of them at least. thats prolly the reason why they don't see the signs of him about to throw one of those kicks. You understand ? :) I train kickboxing with TKD influences so for me it would be different!

  • @FromPoetryToRap I wouldn't be too surprised if the people he used them on weren't professional Muay Thai fighters. He is fast and does use them in the right situations but he could just use a side kick instead which is safer for him. Thanks for letting me know about that video, I like it. I change my stance the kicks he uses however I think using them is riskier & not as often available to use like a push or roundhouse kick is.

  • @JohnnyandNicoleTV oh really? why don't you look at the 2011 highlight reel of cyrus washington and then say that again:p

  • Those Muay Thai fighters should realize spinning kicks and flying knee strikes are useless for real fighting and in the ring.

  • @JohnnyxCash Yeah but it's also about the fear of losing. When you hit someone, your open. What if your shot misses and you get caught? Anybody can get knocked out in any second of a fight, if you hit the jaw good enough. But all this confidence comes from how good you trained.

  • @thefreed Of course I would never say the opposite, the greatest fight of all starts inside you head and your body. Perfect confidence is the hardest goal to achieve, even if you have the perfect knowledge of technique and a array of kicks. Still, Cyrus is great and I have more fun and excitement watching then most UFC fights!

Respect and peace on this day of X-Mas! JC
