Il nous a fallu quelque temps avant d'attraper l'oiseau pour une session acoustique... et encore davantage pour mettre ladite session en ligne. C'est que nous avons préféré attendre la sortie du deuxième et très attendu album de la demoiselle (Victorian America, le 12 octobre chez Talitres). La belle Emily Jane White nous avait en effet fait l'honneur de nous en présenter des extraits, dont le très beau Never Dead qui ouvre l'album. Imperturbable malgré le remue-ménage dans les cuisines de la Maroquinerie, Emily Jane White nous a servi une très jolie session, accompagnée de sa violoncelliste. La folk a encore de belles heures devant elle.

Well, this song is called "Never Dead" and not "Dark Undercoat".

Beautiful song....happy ...but in a melancholic way. Full of spirit and feeling. This is what music is made for... for touching the very essence of our being...
