Face Of The Sun, Days 1 & 2 recording at Made Oak Studios 2011

A few clips from the sessions for the new album at Mad Oak Studios in Allston, MA. Again, we went in to the studio ready to come up with music on the spot. No rehearsing, just go for it. Had a lot of fun on the kit, which was a combination of a vintage Slingerland kick, rack, and floor tom, and added a "16 Tama Starclassic and "18 Swingstar. Played a metal thing filled with rocks and a used a soda can on the end of my stick to get a weird sound.

It's a pity that Brian isn't going to get that Alan Wilder's drum kit which is now for sale. He would be one of the few "acceptable" owners.
