  • Are you from NL or DK?

  • @RockHailand DK :)

  • i play the drums but i think i wanna lesrn bass

  • @IzzyStorm1996 I play a bit of drums now and then too. Leaning to play bass as a drummer is a good thing. You'll be able to use all your rhythm knowledge, applying it to your bass playing :) I plan to do more bass lessons starting May 2011

  • @IzzyStorm1996 i play bass but i think i wanna learn to play drums lol :)

  • Tune bass sounds great!

  • that was cool

  • Surely playing slap isn't the first thing a new bassist needs to know.

Although it may sound and look pretty funky the basics need to be totally nailed before you can start playing this kind of stuff.

I would suggest starting on roots and rock bass parts, building up in to slightly funkier bass parts (how about some old Red Hot Chili Peppers grooves) and then going in to slap if that is the direction you want to point people in.
