Klimmen met de MB200 (2)

Cuba, op de route tussen Holguin, Guardalavaca en Banes werden veel DAF MB200 - Den Oudsten bussen ingezet. Afgeschreven in Nederland hielden enkele exemplaren het nog wel 10 jaren uit in Cubaanse dienst.
In 2011 is het aantal MB200-en op dit traject, het waren er ooit rond de 70, ver afgenomen. Deze film is gemaakt bij Guardalavaca in maart 2007. Te zien zin de blauwe Transpolt 988 (ex VAD/Connexxion 9758, daarna de Transpolt 1000 + 1019 (in Nederland de 9785 en NZH/Connexxion 850) en als laatste de Transpolt 942, de ex NZH/Connexxion 8844

@alexsuchapimp It is an uphill route. Speed depends on the load and the condition of the motor. These motors are DAF DKDL1160 motors, 130kW. These buses were second hand from Holland.
