  • solo over it in C-minor, right ?

  • @YAGGAAA

solo in C minor until the key change to Db major (Ebm7, Ab7, Dbmaj7), then back to C minor....

  • thank you very much for the video but I think there's a Ebmin7 not a Eb7

  • @moer900

Hi, what do you mean? Ebmin7 is always played here (in the B section), there is no Eb7...

  • tomhil you are very right.these are not jazz chords .get a jazz chord book along with the real book ;)

  • @alkimel

These are the exact changes from the Real Book for our students to practice their arpeggios and improvising to basic 7th chords. We spend time putting these free videos together; if you don't like the chords, feel free to make your own...

  • Great chord pattern! I was soloing over it for like 20 minutes :)

  • thank you man, way better than playing to a stupid tinny-sounding jam track.

  • @JFlip44 I agree, this is a great warm-up song for any jazz beginner. It's great for exploring arps and learning one of the major stepping stones: improvisation. Whether all of the chord voicings are "jazz chords" is a rather moot point to make considering the real book is just a series of suggestions assigned to segments of time. But I digress. Noobs, practice over this once a day for the first couple months. Watch yourself get better.

  • Wow it goes really well to improvise! Thanks!

  • Thank you, man! I used it to practice improvisation!

  • Thanks, this is so useful for improv! :D
