The point is, if you turned the original up louder, it would result in harsh digital distortion and clipping. A limiter can get that loudness without clipping. Also, the limiter adds a slightly distorted character to the beats that is typical of vintage analog gear.

its not fair. the off is way way way less loud... match volume and then whe can hear what it does... sorry this is nonsence... uad is great though

Yes agreed, however the hardware version would cost more than my whole set-up and id have no instant recall or multi instances.
So the software will do for now.
