Minecraft - Man Cannon

The last time I uploaded this video, it was insanely dark. Maybe this one will be better!

I created a cannon that can launch people to high places! You go up super high, then you land in the pool up above to negate any fall damage.

Basically, the device is a 24 TNT engine, split into four 2x3 stacks, ignited simultaneously under the player using some clever redstone organization

To position myself, I crouch and get as close to the middle as I can, in order to maximize the force exerted on the player. The hole above me is 1x2; if you make the hole 1x1, you will simply collide with the ceiling instead of going through the chute. You could also simply place the cannon on the surface and not worry about the chute at all, but it helps to straighten the player's upward movement, just like the barrel of a gun.

no how do you get down?

@andyman2016 Elsewhere in the fortress, there is a small gap which you can fall through into a pit filled with water. It has a door out the side, so you can just walk right out. :)

@twannie1997 in truth, the "hot tub" is there to negate any potential fall damage... but it does come standard with a heater and jets ;)

@Luffy7948 if I could post longer videos, I would make a tutorial! but instead, you get to read the "cannon science" threads on the minecraft forums and then figure it out yourself! you'll feel more accomplished if you do it that way anyway ;D
