Here's one of the four old garbage trucks working early on a freezing Tuesday morning just as the sun was coming up. Hope you like the two clips I snapped of the truck's swift arm dumping the little 120Ls, and hope the driver enjoys watching himself at work. Ratings and comments would be most appreciated. If you haven't already, check out the videos of the recycling, greens, units and bulk-waste...

Body Make: Superior Pak
Model: 23m Raptor (Early Model)
Chassis: International Acco
Council: Hurstville City
Contractor: Cleanaway (Transpacific Industries)
Collection Type: Garbage / Trash

  • Did I not watch this video?! Sure isn't something to brag about saying you're two months behind on somebody's vids!! Geez...definitely need 2 get busy :)

Was gonna say, looks like an old ass Raptor....checked the description, and, yes! "23m Raptor (Early Model)" .....I'm pretty cool :D :D

It says Cleanaway on the back--does that mean these are really Transpac trucks and not council ones? I'm seeing the thumbnail for greens is in Cleanaway colors...

Hey the vid turned out pretty nicely; *****

  • haha I knew this day would come where you would suddenly "reappear" and catch up with all the videos, and everything in a day! I'm impressed! =] You know the trucks better than some of the other Aussies I reckon haha These trucks were done up when Cleanaway was just known as Cleanaway, unlike today's "Transpacific Cleanaway" or whatever it is. It seems Cleanaway just used this plain white scheme earlier on (same with the Noosa trucks), the greens truck I videoed came out later with the new blue.

  • Excellent Stuff! im guessing these trucks are pushing on atleast 11+ years now aye?

  • Yeh originally I thought they were about that old, but after checking out the serial plates most of them are actually 2000 models... still pretty old of course :)

  • We used to have trucks this old in Knox.

  • Thats an old Cleanaway Raptor back in the 90s

  • OMG IS THIS THE RAPTOR 240Ls, the one and ONLY garbage truck that can do what no other garbage truck can...the one we do not speak of? the one that can lift what no other can, the one that can collect more rubbish than any other!

  • this is one of the first trucks of the Superior raptor ive seen with this calw but i like the newer ones better

  • OK I think I get it now. haha yeah was kinda disappointed there was nothing left of your vids by the time I finished...and that's how it is these days lol 'suddenly reappear and tackle all the vids at once'...unfortunate, to say the least.

  • Did your reseach aye :) haha yeah :)

  • Alright.

  • I'll see what I can do, just depends if this driver collects any 240Ls because he usually does the garbage which are only 32g in size.
