Great playing and singing, you just reminded me how much I'd love to see the TV series again!

i played this for an honor band, and we sang the first verse. it was our favorite song out of all them!

Actually, Billy Dargin was not a boyhood friend of Hall's. That's a fictional story point from Frank Clunes' novel and the TV series. Billy Dargin was raised in a totally different district and was 10 years younger than Hall. Unfortunately, lots of fiction has been mingled with fact in the Ben Hall story. A great book to read is Peter Bradley's 'The Judas Covenant' - highly researched and scientifically studied account of Hall's death. Grab a copy if you can - you'll love it!

Wow, I'm really happy to see another young guy showing some appreciation toward Bold Ben Hall, thanks for the song :)

I like the arrangement, good song, well done.
Did you know Billy Dargan, who was 'chosen to shoot the outlaw dead,' was an aboriginal tracker who was one of Ben Hall's boyhood friends?
It is better with bass, says james.
Nice song :D
