The song is a setting of Romeo's speech "Heav'n is here where Juliet lives..." from Romeo and Juliet, part of my student piece "Two Songs From Romeo and Juliet". Sean Deibler is joined at the piano by Jeffrey Eschleman.
University of the Arts. Philadelphia. April 1989.
Such a tremendous talent who was taken away too soon.

Did Sean die? When? How? I hope I am coming to the wrong conclusion.

In the heaven, a spirit doth dwell, whose heart strings are a lute: None sing so wildly well, none sing so wildly well... from Israfel...

I can still remember my first musicianship class with Sean. I hear better with my right ear so I sat in the front row with the piano and Sean to my right. Its painful to realize I'll never get another sweaty post-concert Sean hug, or hear a Sean laugh (followed by a Bill Gatti laughing so hard I dont know how he didn't crash the van), or put another Sean cut in my music, or those eyeballs and squiggles he taught us to mark in. I hope I have enough rainbows from Sean to last till we meet again(((

I can't believe he's really gone. Thanks for this. People forget what a good singer he was.
