Crab Scratch in a Beat

Description
Crab Scratching (which is probably incorrectly named as it sounds more like transforming), as pioneered by beatboxer Abra, is one of the most realistic sounding and effective scratches there is for a beatboxer to do.

Method

1. Place the tip of your finger (You can use any finger) just against your mouth.
2. It's important to leave the gap in your mouth small (As a Pea) so you can get that whistly sound you want. If you leave the gap bigger you will get a deeper scratch which is still a good sounding scratch but not the one you want.
3. Now what you have to do is breathe inwards and you should get that scratching sound.
4. Ok now this is the most important part of crab Scratching, changing the tones. To change the tones it is like saying "Tooka" but you do it inwards and unvocalised and this should get your Crab Scratch sounding great.

Simple beat to use for this is: B, T, Pf, Tooka Tooka B Pf (x4)

Make sure to practice this to make it faster and so on.

In the beginning it sounds too slow and a bit too normal but with practice of course it gets better.

B = Kick Drum

T = Closed Hihat

Pf = Pf Snare (DUH)

Tooka = A variation to crab scratch to make it faster. Say this inwards for a fast scratch. Good Luck all! >:D

@IamGaara39 while making a simple beat dont try to breath whit your mouth breath whit your nose its better, it will slow the beat a lilltle but you can keep up fast
