I'm honestly wishing this problem was the fault of the Hyphy Movement, the Uni-Mind including trolls, the San Francisco Bay Area residents who prove that it doesn't deserve to be called the "Yay Area", the shallow girls who would say "wanna suck my pee" just to mock me, and the Oakland rioters.
So as it turns out, Cold War suffers from some horrible imbalance that proves fatal: the ability to spawn camp the Heavy Tank with the Bomber. By being able to destroy the Heavy Tank easily, the Tundrans now easily kill the Xylvanians' offense. If the Tundrans are lucky, the Heavy Tank will live, with reduced health. Even if the Heavy Tank is destroyed, that's still 30 seconds worth of delay. And the Ack-Acks are HORRIBLE at preventing this, because the Bomber can fly low enough and then bomb THEM into oblivion if need be. Whatever damage they deal can be easily healed by the Battleship's Jerry Can too.
And to think, without this, the map would be balanced otherwise. That's how bad spawn camping is. Granted, this case is effortless beyond being able to pilot the Bomber, but spawn camping as a whole has problems. When I play online to play against other people, GIVE ME AN ACTUAL, HONORABLE OPPONENT, NOT A HIT FIRST AND WIN CASE OF TARGET PRACTICE, AND CERTAINLY NOT A PUNCHING BAG OR A COWARD EXPLOITER!
Is it any wonder why I detest such things that easily disrupt a game's balance?
Oh hooray for BWii online! As for the video, this was an EXCELLENT video demonstrating bomber superiority against respawning ground forces. What this level truly depends on is the bomber to counter effectively both the battleship and heavy tank, therefore Tundra NEEDS a smart bomber pilot. Have smart use of the bomber and Tundra has the advantage. I could see, however, moments in which Tundra could be caught with their "pants down," and the X-ers could get some work done on the fuel tanks.
