40" Sony Bravia LCD TV for sale - Burlington, NC

We are making changes in our home and sadly, this TV must go. We bought it new from Alamance TV in Burlington in early 2008. Here are the details:

Sony Bravia KDL-40S3000
Price New $1400 (still have receipt :-)
Still have remote and ALL paperwork still in original bag.
No scratches or imperfections on the TV. (Even unplugged during all electrical storms)

they sell these things brand new at walmart for $668. how much did you sell it for?

Posted this in September before the new models and price drops. Didn't really want to sell it badly. If someone had offered $875-$900 I would have taken it. The highest I got was $800. So it sits in my room now (happily).

Nothing is wrong with it. Nothing at all. Redoing the room and actually going with a smaller TV that we will mount on the wall.

This TV is in perfect working order. We will leave it hooked up to demonstrate for serious inquiries

Probably going to have to drop your price a tad. Why not just keep it? I bought one today for $679.
