Male and femals can both have short fins. Short finned males,are called plakat%(spelled wrong) the only way to know for sure is if she has a little white dot,looks like,an egg. On her tummy. If she has it its a female if nit its a malee

Hello I believe its a female, but if you want to make sure its a female look for a white spot between her ventral fins, if she has it than she is definitely a female. Also the male is flaring at her because hes trying to show off.
