Tell me how tax is going to realistically mitigate global warming? Cap and trade isn't going to realistically stop CO2 around the world.
There are actual things we can do which have been proposed by scientists if warming were to be a real catastrophe. ppl need to separate worst case scenario from likely scenario.
lol I don't know how you think it being warm outside your house is the climate (thats the weather). Over where I am it has been the coldest December in decades... yet I don't think we are going to an ice age.
If there were real empirical evidence for a catastrophe then lets take the risk... but we risked banning DDT and millions of people are dieing each year in Africa. How many more need to die in Africa over stopping ONLY risk.

Who is calling for communism? The regulation of something does not automatically lead to communism, I don't know how you take this weird step. It's like me saying that losing some sort of regulation leads to anarchism. And please do tell how you can realistically mitigate global warming without any government action (regulation).
Its like every AGW fanatic was never read to as a child (chicken little) so they have to make it up by predicting man's doom because they hate mankind so much they want it to be true.
There is real risk of human destruction every day since the world built enough nuclear weapons. The risk according to the IPCC's own figures for catastrophe is low. Why do fanatics always state catastrophe as inevitable? we know the globe is warming. we know CO2 is a GHG. but data doesn't support CO2 to cause catastrophic warming and the end of mankind!! why are fanatics so gloom and doom?
