i just spend 3 months in omaha working there . i came from phoenix just got back a week ago . i fall in love with omaha i want to move there so bad i miss it!

Cost of living in Omaha is low as hell, you can make $50k/yr out there and live like a king.

@revenist idk I'm from the south and its not safe to wal with the crack heads and annoying gangbangers that don't want to get a job and would rather rob you Omaha's crime rate rivals Chicago nearly passing it, and that city is idk maybe its just south O idk a place were this past week there has been 10 shooting in 3 deaths 4 people put in critical condition all in two ddays just in between s. 46th and L down to 20th and Monroe ave that don't sound safe. well idk about north O I just hear stuff

@jthuggamk3 REALLY!!!!!! look that my be your opinion but I lived in north omaha since the day I was born and it's just as safe over here as it is in west omaha, I can't speak for south omaha but I'm pretty sure it's cool over there as well.

if you come here I would recomend living in the west side alot beter neighborhoods unless you want to constantly watching your car and home on the weekend and not hear guns shots and other stupid crap but the west is nice the south east and north east stay away or be ready for random trouble or bullshit

I live in downtown Omaha, and I love it....it just keeps getting better and better

i agree with @chundie19 my bills average out to about 550$ a month, But my rent is 500$ a month as well so its about 1050$ a month. Not to bad if you think about it, BTW! that 100$ that he said just vanishes--I bet its on weed lol =)
