I love this footwork... I didn't like that she changed it to straight-line at Worlds later on. This is so much smoother and grander! Very soft and sweet.

The spiral sequence was perfectly timed....and that layback at the end was gorgeous.

Watching this video makes me realize how much I miss her skating. I don't care how many triple/triples the ladies are doing these days, but none of them generate the emotional impact that Michelle does. She really skates with her heart on her sleeves! Hope someone will upload her upcoming Aug 09 exhibition skates in Korea.

WOW!!!! This is absolutely beautiful..the music so brings out the best in Michelle's skating..she is SO exotic that this is like it is just made for her..it was like she WAS the music.

I absolutely agree. I think this is my second favorite short program of hers behind her Rachmaninoff program.

Long after everyone had written off Michelle, she was still outdoing herself. Even the best of the current field come nowhere near to having the beauty, technical perfection or emotional impact of Michelle in her third to last competitive performance.

I cry every time I see this performance. Talk about musical placement. That spiral fit that part of the music to a T. Just beautiful. If all the other skaters would follow her example, they WOULD be world champs.
