You're fucking kidding me.
This tune just adds to the entire moment. You have to save her! You just have to. This song is so intense, that it really gives you a feeling you are in the place of Sissel. You are trying to save her.

Sorry to comment again, but I wanna say other things, because this game deserves it so much.
For chapter 15 to the end, the game's plot really is at its paroxysm. There's a LOT of action, suspense, surprises, tension, epicness, sadness, revelations, etc. These chapters make the player feel the gravity of the situation at this point, and THAT, my friends, is what I call "a game". My definition of a "game" is "something that makes you feel what it must make feel perfectly. And Ghost Trick did it.
