  • how if the hell did the bolt stay open after the last shot?

  • danged if I know...that's one of the major failings of the AK... slows down a reload by the bolt not staying open... I know there is an aftermarket kit that will hold the bolt open after the last round for a quicker magazine change and maybe it's showed up on the battlefield... that was my son in the video the pogues were shooting captured weapons at Al Asad airbase.....

  • Bigger round doesn't necessarily mean bigger kick. AKs just have a shitty recoil system. Pretty shitty weapon really. They're just idiot-proof is all.

  • bigger round = bigger kick. and i doubt you can do anything to these things short of completly smashing them to bits to break'em, evn if they dont work as good.

  • @LcplMartin1986 Judging by your manner of speaking, you've clearly been let in because of the DADT repeal. Go trip on an IED, fag.

  • @einsatzdeath judging by your "logic" your ether a child or an imbecile. Ether way not worth further debate...

  • @LcplMartin1986 By the only standard you've given, we should have never switched from bolt-action rifles to semi-autos. I'd say that considering any weapon to be beyond criticism "isn't very intelligent."

    Dumb boot.

  • @ilovecats748 it was probably extremly dirty(can cause the bolt carrier to catch up) or had a kit installed.

  • @einsatzdeath lol bashing on the most successful assault design in history isn't very intelligent. I find any rifle that can hit a man sized target at 300 yards and is completely reliable to be an outstanding rifle. Especially when you look at the cost compared to other systems.

  • @Elcic Or you can just do a "tactical reload" while holding the bolt open with your right hand keep the pressure against your shoulder. Using a full magazine to remove the old one and insert it then releasing the bolt and sending it home.

  • aks dont have bolt locks...did it happen to catch on the trigger on the last shot or something?

  • thier pesent rifles

  • it's because they used steel core ammo, which just went through people rather than fragmenting
