Loved this game as a kid. But I found it much easier to lose.

Still, am I the only one who finds this rendition of Journey's Don't Stop Believing incredibly creepy?

Oh, and did they ever explain what space aliens had to do with Journey? When I played the game, I didn't even know they were a band.

I still think they look like aliens. It doesn't help that the game is set in space. Is there any reason why Journey woudl be in space? I admit I don't know much about the band...

I don't know, but it and the scarab vehicle just seems to center around the Escape album. Maybe if I cared more about music in general I'd know the answer to that.

The enemies are supposed to be lovesick groupies (hearts with legs), sleazy scamming business managers (men with blue hats), money seeking photographers (flashing lights), and concert barracades (yellow squares). The robots are supposed to be bodyguards and the guy with the yellow crown is your concert promoter. Takes an old fart to know this.

ok...I know i'm gonna get reamed for this but....I'm 27 and I used to play this game when i was a child. Now I know who Journey is and always thought...wow, their cover to escape looks a lot like that one atari video game.....interesting. Only to JUST NOW REALIZE!!! that it's a game based of the freakin group and song!!! WOW!!! I feel like I JUST got a joke that was told 2 decades ago.....damn!

@locksmithite I'm also older. Owned this game back in '82 and like your average video game kid fan, I studied the booklet- especially after having a tough time. Those shifty-eyed hats are the shifty-eyed promoters. You're on target with everything else. I admit I spent many hours trying to beat this game.

OMG I played this game at my cuz's as a kid. I remember playing it again and again. I wanna share this: I thought the yellow squares were buildings and those yellow circles were lamps...idk y... Ooo and I loved those blue robots :p
