Ian enjoyed "hiding" on album covers, as evidenced with his earlier "disguises" on the Thick as a Brick cover and A Passion Play. Max Quad (On TaaB then Jeffery Hammond took that name on APP), Ahab Gross and Mark Ridley. So I found it odd that Ian had quit "playing with us" when the next album came out, Warchild. After studying the back cover I noticed that the Sealion had been "cut and pasted" into the picture. After recognizing all the members in the band in "disguise" and now Ian is not (?) So in looking at the Ian figure in the back, he has no shadow and is lit brighter than the two figures on either side of him, and they have shadows. He was cut and pasted in. So where was Ian at this big photo shoot? See the transition at 2:20

I bought Warchild the day it came out. Until I saw this I never guessed that Ian was Queen Elizabeth!

Usually a photographer takes many photos at a photo shoot, but only one or two are actually used for the album cover.
