@TAV3DRAGONFLY Well General Dynamics is the current manufacturer, the aircraft was originally developed by Lockheed Martin. Both companies are valid prefixes.

yea, the jets are more efficient, therefore the propellers producer more friction in the air, creating more sound.

I can't tell if 1884moss is serious or not. It's a flyover at an airshow, not two aircraft escorting one low on fuel. How does getting in formation with two aircraft help a fuel problem?
Anyway the aircraft in the center is a North American P-51 Mustang. The large jet is a Mcdonnel Douglas F-4 Phantom, and the smaller jet is a Lockheed Martin F-16 Fighting Falcon also known as the Viper.
