  • F16 Falcon,.P51D Mustang,.McDonnall-Douglas F4J Phantom. Great planes. All are record setters in their own respective eras.

  • I can't tell if 1884moss is serious or not. It's a flyover at an airshow, not two aircraft escorting one low on fuel. How does getting in formation with two aircraft help a fuel problem?

Anyway the aircraft in the center is a North American P-51 Mustang. The large jet is a Mcdonnel Douglas F-4 Phantom, and the smaller jet is a Lockheed Martin F-16 Fighting Falcon also known as the Viper.

  • LiKe,,..That P51 was holding back, those jets were trying to keep up.

  • @TAV3DRAGONFLY Well General Dynamics is the current manufacturer, the aircraft was originally developed by Lockheed Martin. Both companies are valid prefixes.

  • @flyboy4692 General Dynamics F-16

  • i was looking at the tree birds

  • the p51 is only keeping up because the jets slowed down

  • that prop plane is capable of around 500mph

  • ya i guess lol

  • there having a race

  • yea, the jets are more efficient, therefore the propellers producer more friction in the air, creating more sound.
