Prophet 64: Sequencer Demo Song

This is the Prophet 64 cartridge running on a Commodore 64c with dual SIDs. SID1 is a 8580 and SID2 is a 6581R2. I have lowered the frame rate to 1 FPS as the audio is the most important part.

This is just to show you what kind of sounds you can get out of the Commodore 64 with the P64 program.

brilliant - i blew the sound chip on my c64 and then lost all the fiels and eventually the cassette audi taoppe with the recordings on got crapped on...

Still.. they exist only in my head now.

Commodore machines and their emulations can be used to create some fantastically sophisticated and unique soundtracks. And this miracle of uniqueness doesn't have to cost much or anything at all.

Free VSTi and the likes of the MSSIAH can do the job for a fraction of the cost of new whizzo software.

does anybody know any other music programs like this that run on a computer because im trying to remember some but I cant thing of any.
