This is a shout-out to one of my favorite videos on YouTube, "How to Charge an iPod using electrolytes and an onion." I really dug the first video, but I wanted to kick it up a few notches. First, I set out to generate enough veggie energy to power my laptop long enough to file my taxes online. For this, I used three different types of onions, potatoes and yams, and a few tomatoes. I'm not sure how much energy the tomatoes absorbed, but they tasted really good. I also used green energy drinks. You don't have to, but I like to cuz I'm into the Block, and that's how I roll. To be honest, my energy supply did not last that long, but it was long enough for me to file my taxes, which probably says more about how fast and easy online tax filing is with H&R Block than my vegetable power plant. Anyway, I was able to fully file my taxes, and get every deduction I qualified for, so this was a total success! Oh, one more thing: For those recreating this video at home, remember to wear your goggles at all times! That onion juice will make the toughest guy teary eyed. I'm digging the whole video production thing, but gotta admit, my brain toner is a running a bit low. If you've got ideas please drop me a comment on my MySpace page: http://www.myspace.com/trumangreene And while you're at it, check out my photos, H&R Block widgets and my blog...Dulcinea is like a little slice of heaven.

An absolute moron! I hope no one actually believes this would work. While fruits and vegetables can produce electricity, the way it's hooked up will only yield wasted time and vegetables.
A tomato is a vegetable and a fruit. Fruit is a botanical term, while vegetable is a culinary term. Botanically speaking, there is no such thing as a vegetable.
I'd be curious to get even an approximate number, how much electrolytes/veggies did you use, and how much power would such quantities make? I'm not sure, but I'd imagine to run a laptop would take several hundred watts... You never know when such information might come in handy
RE:Pegasus There is a thing called a refrigerator, and its not about money its about the principal of wasting food. RE:Mikka Actually the only food ive wasted is junk food, and not big quantity's of it,and what the hell should "Get over your self" mean?
Get over yourself means stop acting holier-than-thou, when you've got faults too. Seriously though, even if he didn't waste that food, would the poor people be better off for it? I realise that it sounds mean, but you can't deny that it's also true.
