"Dear Diary,

Today's cut wasn't as bad as yesterday's. I actually had a pretty good day today. Demi came to school for the first time in 5 days. Later, we both went down to the alley. David and Mitchell weren't there, though. I should find out why, but I just don't really care.

Demi brought some good crack cocaine and we used most of it up. I have the rest of the stash in my hand. I'm running out of placed to hide it from my mom and dad.

Which reminds me, dad found a stash in my bedroom. I guess I was so high one night I didn't even bother trying to hide it. Anyway, dad grounded me, which didn't really bother me since I already am.

I better go. Mom just walked through the door and I can hear her coming up the stairs, already screaming from being so drunk.

(Nick's POV)

"Nick! Ugh, seriously. Don't," she screamed, pushing me off of her. On instict, I went right back and pressed my lips against her neck.

"Come on, baby," I pleaded on her neck. To be honest, I didn't even know her name. I started to slide my hand up her shirt, but she instantly grabbed my hand and pushed it away.

"Nick!" she whined. "I'm gonna go," she said, standing up and grabbing her purse.

My hand went to her wrist and I said, "Why? My mom won't be home for hours."

"I just... I'm not feeling to well." She tossed her purse over her shoulder, bent forward and kissed my cheek softly, and walked out of my house. I sighed heavily, leaning back onto the couch. Ugh, normally they throw themselves at me. Ah well. I'll try again tomorrow."
