O.k. big deal so a plane can dive and make the speed. But then the pilot has to hit the towers at that speed with a direct hit. first we should be looking at what evidence there is for the impact speed. If there is sufficient evidence that the plane hit the building with for example 700 mph we do not need to say: it is impossible, because then it is possible.

Vmo is not the max speed the airframe is possible of. It is above Vmo you have increased metal fatigue and (if far enough above Vmo you risk damaging the airframe, or an in flight break-up.

But, it is not like the terrorist-pilots were thinking about safety of flight now, were they? no!
