These Bob Mackie dresses originally debuted at the Bob Mackie Fall 2002 Fashion Show entitled "To Broadway With Love" in which Bob Mackie reinterprets his favorite Broadway musicals and shows through his elaborate and elegant designs. The musical, "Dreamgirls", is the inspiration for the creation of these colorful dresses. The designs are also a reflection of the glamorous and extravagant costumes that Bob Mackie created for Diana Ross and The Supremes during their run with Motown Records.
