Left 4 Dead - Dead Air - UNTOUCHABLES Achievement w/ BOTS

Most people have a hard time getting UNTOUCHABLES achievement with bots. Although in Dead Air Finale it is pretty easy.

The only hard part is dealing with the Tank, it must die really fast. To do this you must have two people in the group with Auto Shotguns.

I noticed the bots will always use the same weapons.

Bill - Assault Rifle
Louis - Assault Rifle
Francis - Shotgun
Zoey - Sniper Rifle

So if you use Zoey and pick up a Shotgun you will have the perfect group makeup to kill the horde from ranged and kill the Tank really fast.

On Dead Air Finale a trick I figured out with the Tank is to make him come up over the top of the big airplane or from each side. I set a trap with Propane Tanks on each side of the plane and in the middle. Propane Tanks will stun the Tank making him even easier to kill.

During the Tank phase run to behind the large airplane and wait for him to show up to unload on him. Stay close to the plane so that the Tank aggros you instead of the bots. If he throws rocks it should be at you. The bots can finish the Tank real easy after blasting 10 rounds in to him with the Auto Shotgun.

he got the achievement. that achievement is hard on any mode. and he earned it, he didnt pussy out like the chumps on the rock in death toll

Thanks for this, I follow ed this and got it. The only thing I did different was threw a pipe bomb at the end.

My suggestion for doing on Xbox 360 is probably to obtain a Pipe Bomb for the horde that comes when the C-130 door opens. Also scatter some propane gas tanks/cylinders and gasoline canisters for the first/second wave of infected. Whether or not these items appear when you load up the finale is random. The layout of items generates randomly. You could keep trying if you wanted but the way shown in the video may also be a successful Xbox 360 technique anyway.
