Visualisation for the new Vantaa Energy waste-to-energy plant designed by Pöyry

This visualisation did not only combine the vision of Vantaa Energy and the work of Pöyry engineers and architects, but it was also used as a design tool where different options were sketched. The animation shows an important part of the future of Vantaa. The contemporary high-technology plant will be a sculptural combination of buildings built on an old quarry. They will change the area to an exceptional industrial facility that will attract people, designers and experts even from longer distances to familiarize themselves with waste-to-energy process. The plant will remove the negativity which is so often related to waste handling. It will make a difference!
