@absurdplanet at one of his shows he used an mxr classic distortion, anmd a twin. sounded exactly the same. i go the mxr for 35 bucks at gc. it does this sound well.

It seems to me, that we can hear Robben running through a Zen Drive; as he has been using when he's not playing his Dumbles.
Are we hearing the Super Reverb or the Louis?
Nevertheless, it doesn't matter--it sounds like
Robben regardless of what amp he's playing.
I am ordering a Zen Drive II so I'll have a tone more like Robbens! I just bought a
TC Electronic's echo similar to his--now if I could only buy his talent!?! :-D

when I saw this tour in Humboldt a few weeks ago it appeared that Robben was playing his Fender amp(super reverb?) and Jorma played the LOuis Electric when they played their electric set together. Robben also had his Dumble OD special onstage but it didnt appear to be on(no light). Though whatever the case ..it sounded wonderful.
