On a fall night in 2003, Harvard undergrad and computer programming genius Mark Zuckerberg sits down at his computer and heatedly begins working on a new idea. In a fury of blogging and programming, what begins in his dorm room soon becomes a global social network and a revolution in communication. A mere six years and 500 million friends later, Mark Zuckerberg is the youngest billionaire in history... but for this entrepreneur, success leads to both personal and legal complications. From director David Fincher and screenwriter Aaron Sorkin comes The Social Network, a film that proves you don't get to 500 million friends without making a few enemies. The film is produced by Scott Rudin, Dana Brunetti, Michael De Luca, and Ceán Chaffin and based on the book "The Accidental Billionaires" by Ben Mezrich.

  • Jesse Eisenberg has my full attention

  • This was Jesse Eisenberg's oscar clip, The King's Speech was pretty good and Firth fantastic in it (I did root for Franco for 127 Hours and Eisenberg for this) but this scene alone (and each scene as well) of this 120-minute masterpiece of a film is why this should have won Best Picture. The dialogue is out of this world, the acting is excellent, the editing is awesome just about everything about this movie was just amazing. Just unbelivable writing Aaron Sorkin and excellent acting by Jesse!!

  • oh snap

  • This scene is what made me squeal like a schoolgirl when I saw Jesse in person a couple of months ago...needless to say I got an autograph (no picture though, sigghhhhhhh).

  • This scene captures the brilliance of the movie and all those involved in its making... the directing by Fincher, the music by Trent and Atticus, the script by Sorkin, the acting by everyone in that room... obviously Jessie is great, but opposing counsel is terrific and so is the mere looks on Hammer's faces. Brilliant.

  • Best scene in the movie

  • Best scene in the movie

  • Press 1 for sweets

  • I draw so many parallels of myself and Zuckerberg, hence why I am desperately trying to do whatever I can to distance myself from this personality..... including overusing this type of words.

  • @mv1334 Wonderfully written. I agree!

  • FUCKING POWN

  • @WtfSimpleplan I was disappointed this movie didn't win Best Picture. But anyway I am glad it won Best Original Score. That piano theme is just perfect for this movie.

  • This movie has smart people in it and not dumbasses. I LOVE that. The script is quick, smart, and even humorous at times. The actors do a great job, David Fincher scores again as well as Aaron Sorkin. It's such a great movie. You don't need to know what facebook is or what it does in order to enjoy this film.
