  • A VERY stupid ad campaigne, especially with so many good vodkas out there that are cheaper as well.

This was a gaff that should have been EASILY anticipated.

I wouldn't want to be the CEO of the advertising company that designed & sold this one to Absolut! For that matter, I wouldn't want to be the Absolut CEO for agreeing to RUN the ad either.

Did they think U.S. vodka drinkers would find this ...funny?

  • The ad campaign ran in Mexico only. I'm sure they never expected this to reach the US, as if they forgot there's such a thing as the internet. I personally believe it was a deliberate campaign for those in Mexico appealing to their "sentiments." There's a strong belief in Mexico that the SW US should be returned to Mexico based on a whole bunch of historical inaccuracies taught school kids in Mexico that pervades the whole culture. There's better vodkas out there that are not so expensive.

  • Good going FIRE! I have a new campaign ad idea for Absolut since they like pandering to specific groups. They should do an ad for the US that shows a BORDER FENCE ALONG THE SOUTHERN VORDER and have it say "America like it was and should be" Assholes. BOYCOTT ABSOLUT!

  • Kudos to FIRE Coalition. A few years ago there was a spanish language radio station that put up billboards stating L.A. was now in Mexico, not the U.S. This is one of those consequences of leaving our borders wide open - we now have millions of illegals that actually believe much of the U.S. belongs to them and they get angry when the federal government does anything (never that much) to secure the borders and return illegals to their home countries. Now big business is pandering to them.

  • That's the way it was originally and It's not offensive to Americans. Perhaps it's offensive to "patriots", idiots and xenophobes. Eventually the United states of Mexico will be merged with the United States of America. It's only a matter of time and there's nothing that will stop it unless you have trillions of dollars. So stfu.

  • wow F.I.R.E i noticed how most of your viewers comments make you seem like the next Klu Klux Klan.Hey maybe in a couple of years the police will be spraying me with a fire hose just like back in 1960 just because of my mexican descent.good job!!!!!!!!!

  • This was simply....stupid.

The "boss" at Absolut is a nut for going along with this. Maybe he's old and never heard of the net.

As Kelly Bundy once said, "It wobbles the mind!".

  • Apology NOT ACCEPTED! And in fact... depending on how our Amigo's to the south react to this I just might boycott Corona's too, just out of principle!

This totally SUCKS! I fricken hate this $hit1

  • dont forget to boycott Miller brewing too, they gave tons of money towards those illegal immigrant marches! People wait in line to get here the right way,why shoul some illegal buttholes get jobs, and healthcare, and housing? Im boycotting Absolut!!

  • I'm buying a whole case to support Mexicans.

  • ChrisB- We don;t have to do anything, LaRaza, ACLU. Mecha, and and all of the illegals are doing a good enough job committing crimes and turning American Citizen against them.

  • ChrisB - If you ever want to see real hate and racial prejudice, check out open borders groups groups like Mecha and Mexica Movement. I've seen first hand Americans being insulted for their skin color (whites, Hispanics and African-Americans) by the open borders crowd because they were standing up for American jobs and rule of law. It's also so funny how those that cry racism the most often engage in the exact same behavior they're publically condeming. It's called hypocracy.
