Looks awesome! Nice work. One obvious change that I'd make is that the checkbox "[ ] install" that resides within a module, isn't installing. It's adding to an install que. So I would change that to a button (button is an action and more obvious) that says "add to install que" or something to that extent. Then in the que itself, have a "remove from que" or simply "remove"
The wording has already been changed to Add to install queue.
As for the button vs checkbox issue, I am still leaning towards checkboxes, because the 'on-off' nature of a checkbox lends itself to the idea that the project is in the queue or not, and just seems more intuitive.
Dude. This is awesome. Seriously. If a similar solution could be brought in for install profiles that would work without a drupal bootstrap (ie. before site installed), then these two features would make Drupal out-Wordpress even Wordpress :)
I want to eventually build in support for install profiles and even translations for modules and drupal core. I'm leaving room in the API for future additions like that, so hopefully we can get things like that going later on
