Keep telling yourselves that...

@teezhay Learning curve is pretty brutal, but it's definitely worth it. Especially if you're a gamer. (I find it amazing for FPS games) Using a Lenovo W510 here, btw.

Is it kind of gamepad joystick?

I moved from a MacBook to a Lenovo about a month ago, and I'm just now experimenting with the TrackPoint. It feels really awkward at the moment. What is the learning curve like, and does anyone have any quality tips for using it? My index finger stiffens up quite quickly, which makes it that much more difficult.
Thanks!

Either the eraser head isn't properly sitting on the keyboard, or your settings arent right.

I love the trackpoint, I need to find a really good gaming lenovo cause I would suck witha touchpad xD

From what I have read in the past, what you are experiencing is the trackpoint recalibrating itself.
If you are trying to use the trackpoint while it is recalibrating, it will just fight against you.
So, whenever you start to see the pointer trying to fight you, just stop pushing on the trackpoint for a second.

TrackPoint: when you get used to it you could never move back to touchpad or mouse. the pointer control is far better with it. (just one of the advantages)
