Every other cover of Joy Division I have heard (with the possible exception of Shadowplay by the Killers) has been crap. Only when the artist in question takes the song and makes it their OWN does the song sound good. This is a great cover because it slows down the original, is less angry and more depressed than the original, and that guitar combined with Trent's voice adds up to a whole lot of awesome. Other artists copy Joy Division; NIN adapted, and that is what makes this cover great.

Great version, I remember seeing The Distillers do a cover of Ice Age live at reading, that too was great.

@46lar Yeah Mr Cortini also played guitar. Check out their rehearsal videos for the Lights In The Sky tour.

@46lar that was twiggy? Maybe I caught a glimps of Allesandro playing guitar instead of keys.
-
@ComaAlpha That's Jeordie White, also known as Twiggy Ramirez.
-
@46lar If that's Aaron on guitar? Who's on bass, 'cause that's not Twiggy.
-
@ComaAlpha If I would've meant this song, I would've said I love THIS song.

@JessicaVaught also, learn how to spell.....stupid cunt.

@JessicaVaught The message I replied to mentioned both Dead Souls (NIN cover of Joy Division) and Burn (The Cure). I was talking about Burn......... study up on your common sense, retard.
dead souls (NIN (Joy Division cover) and burn (The Cure) are by far the best songs on the "The Crow" OST.

The only band that can cover Joy Division well. Well, apart from The Cure.
