Yes, MANY times. He lived at 15th and Cypress street in Pine Bluff. It was a modest yet very nice home. He was not even close to being the 'country club' sort of guy. He was a businessman 1st and sportsman / archery 2nd. John Rust brand mechanical cotton pickers were manufactured by Ben Pearson as well as archery equipment in the early 60's. He was good and he knew so for he demonstrated his archery skills to schools and many locat events. I still have Ben Pearson pay check stubs.

@gotnaren Thank you for your information. Its hard to find information for that time period outside of him participating in a few tournaments. Its nice to hear from somebody who was actually there.

I worked for Ben Pearson in 1961. He was a good employer but did not pay much above the minimum wage. ($1.185 per hour) On the other hand, I guess I was not worth that much anyway as a 18 year old lad fresh off the farm and high school. I recall a stuffed Polar bear poised in the Simmons bank lobby located on Main street to show off his hunting and shooting skills. In Pine Bluff, AR
