polynesians are the first KNOWN race to perform tattoos. so unless anyone can prove that polynesians WERENT the first to perform tattoos? Polynesians are labled everywhere as the originators of tattoos.

Im so proud when i see other then Polys that wanna learn about our culture. To me its awesome cos Samoa,Tonga,NZ,Hawaii etc arent big nations and for other cultures to want to explore what we little islands have to offer makes me be proud to be POLYNESIAN! YEAHH BABYY !
