Aang Audition - Martial arts only

This is Perris Aquino's clip from his audition video. All personal info and sides were edited out.

This is his first attempt at an audition. He had no prior acting experience except for a small acting workshop he attended 5 months prior to us finding out about this opportunity.

Facts:
He was not called for any screen-testing or live audition.

We sent the video into Paramount per their casting call instructions and before their due date.

The video is on youtube because it can be. It does not prove that the Paramount casting directors viewed the actual CD, his resume, or headshot.

He is not signed with an agency.

He was 12 in this video. He is not 12 anymore.

He is Filipino-American (Fil-Am).

no because he's kinda dark so M Night Shy  didnt pick him ... Noah Ringer sucked at martial arts ..(from my opinion) ..

@welkin009 i think ur talkin about the azn kid who DIDN'T get the role. noah is the guy in the movie and the only possible "asian" in him is said to be native american 0.o

They really should have cast this kid instead. Some one trained in wushu would at least have the grace and fluidity to pull off a good impression of a variety of Chinese styles, with this kid possibly a great impression. Despite all the editing and C.G.I. I still notice an underlying awkwardness In the "Bagua" and "Taiji" demonstrations in the movie. After years of training you can't expect his performance to do anything but scream Tae Kwon Do.

@fable23 DUDE!!! The movie isn't awful why would you say that thing. Maybe they would be sad if u said that. Listen! If u make a movie and someone said the movie awful what do u feel? They make that movie very hard they learn the Kungfu everday 8 hour! People r stupid they don't think first before they talk.
