  • Every American should be part of this great Service , we should be creating more Peace in the World. We need to stop the wars, choes and negativness inthe world. The only way to go is becoming positive and creating PEACE

  • Sorry, but I found this video to be a whitewash. I don't regret my Peace Corps experience but I had a lot of trouble with an uncooperative country director who had a political agenda (Reagan appointee.) In these turbulent times, I think the U.S. gov't should be concentrating on the pressing issues at home, considering the growing expression of discontent. The Peace Corps will be irrelevant if the entire world banking system collapses.

  • Sorry, clearly lots of CEO influence glitter. Would have been much better with some genuine pix of PCV's in problematic situations. That's what it was all about. This thing makes it seem like some kind of middle-class vacation.

  • I agree it changed my life. I am now a citizen of the world. The friendships that I have made have lasted over 40 years. I still volunteer and I will always be grateful to my country for giving me this opportunity to serve my country and the host country.

  • I wonder where they got their stats - I am a former PC volunteer and no one contacted me. I had a very negative experience - politics at its worst, poorly thought out programs.
