I got addicted watching expanding table til I found this one with revealed mechanism. Just the same, I can't figure out the up and down movement...........But I guess, it seems this way: the center looks like a 90 degree-turn (1/4 thread) giant screw............look at the circular hole at the center........ :D.......hope you share your ideas too. This is interesting

Awesome table! Looks like the same mechanism as the Fletcher table uses. The only thing I can't fully figure out is the up- and down movement of the narrow leaves and the center piece. The only thing I can think of is some kind of camshaft. Could you tell me what kind of component you used for the up and down action?

@Saleenrulz Thanks for asking. its a manual opening system, all finger clearence accounted for. There is a min of 15mm clearence on all scissor actions. Cheers Nick. New table on the way.
