  • @Soundexpert100 She was a young woman who happened to be on my paper route. One hot summer day she invited me in for lemonade. She told me she had something for me and asked me to close my eyes while I sat on her sofa. She leaned over and kissed me. Our lips only touched at first and I didn't expect that. Our tongues soon danced. Then she took me by the hand and led me to her bedroom. This went on almost daily until school started. Her house burned down and I never saw or heard from her again.

  • @LordGandor3 I did!! You must have missed what wrote about it. Check it out. She was no hotty by today's standards, but kind of pretty in her own way.

  • ANOTHER GREAT MOVIE AND MUSIC

  • Without doubt Michel Legrand has written the most beautiful melodies the world has ever heard in the entire history of music, Merci Michel :)

  • Beautiful tune! Why don't they put out stuff like this more??

  • A great "coming of age" movie in its day. (My Dad's day.) A classic if it were not for the age difference. He was explicitly underage, she was not, so an act of 'rape' was committed . Lost in all of this was some of LeGrande's better work. Not illegal in my day, so we aged ones will have to remember. Haunting, is it not?

  • This reminds me of my Cougar neighbor when I was 18. Oh bitter-sweet bliss.

  • So many young women have lost their "Loves" in wars since the beginning of time. We will never learn that wars are a terrible waste, but humans are greedy and always try to take from others. It is a tragedy that we can't come up with another solution...

  • Dri,

As flores deveriam ter sido dadas a você. E com elas toda a inocência, toda a pureza do amor que eu sentia por você. Não podemos mudar o que passou, mas podemos refazer o pensamento, o sentimento...sim, as flores eram suas....

  • @kodachromefilm Thank you! Finally, somebody who recognizes the truth! I love the hauntingly beautiful song; however, I don't approve of the storyline. It is about copulation between an adult and a minor. The fact that the adult is a female doesn't make it any more palatable. Minors don't have the maturity to deal with the emotions and responsibilities of such intimacy. It belongs between adults who are in a committed, loving relationship. I was born in the 1940s! I'm a dinosaur!

  • \i am 61 now,my summer was 1969,about the time of the movie,\i was 19 she was 42,she had a holiday home on the beach a few miles from \melbourne,I lived in Frankston,I visited each evening, but not weekends as the family arrived. After the summer she decided it was to difficult to keep it a secret,so it ended,I have wonderful thoughts of that summer that will last forever, this music takes me back to that time so does Joanna Scott Walker, same beautiful lady, same memories, same step back in time.

  • Ela continua Linda.
