Five years ago my husband & I refused to have anything to do with Pit Bulls or Pit mixes--- because we believed the terrible things we had heard about them. Today? We still have our PB Belgian sheepdog...but we also have two Pit Bulls and a Pit mix. What changed? Finding out for OURSELVES, first hand, what wonderful, loving creatures Pit Bulls are in the hands of informed and RESPONSIBLE owners. My Pit Bulls love everyone...but not my Belgian!

My pit is the most loving, caring, sweetest animal I have ever had the pleasure of owning. It is truly a shame that horrible people have resulted in giving them a bad name. I have raised both of my children around my pit, and she has NEVER come close to doing anything to harm them. She loves them as if they are her own children. It's a real shame people just don't get it.

We need get AKC AMSTAFF open studbooks for breed APBT.FCI say yeas for pitbull come in and also AKC say yeas its underclub AKC AMSTAFF say NO to us how wanna have our APBT in AKC how are the homecountry for American Pitbull Breed. Thats way so many people abuse them becouse non certifiered kennels breed them and say they do Amstaffs and therfor Denmark and Turkiet bann both apbt and AKC Amstaff, So let APBT be onirgased in homecountrys first dogclub how are AKC

i went on a media pitbull attack sight most of the dogs they had pics of do not resemble pits and usually there are no pics just people saying they are then to find out its a lab or german shepherd

they have to make a law that before giving to the owners they have to be trained so they will not bite anyone.........

Only ONE pit bull "attack" paired with many other breeds. I was attacked by a Chow who bit my poor doggie because he was loyal and saved me from attack and German shepherds attacked my neighbor and a rottweiler killed a cat. The only attack that got in the local report was the pit bull "attack" and he only pulled a mans shoe off while playing but it was reported as an attack. It's so sad how the media distorts this breed like that. Save the pit bulls!

I found out at a young age what wonderful dogs they truly make. We only adopt pit bulls and their mixes. I have an old pit bull mix and he's the best dog ever. Say NO to BSL. Don't let them take our beautiful pets! My dog is protective NOT aggressive. He is an alpha which made him slightly dog aggressive but he has been trained well and can be around other dogs without attacking. I see so many dogs showing bad behavior and there have been dog attacks in this town (continued)

My friend got a pitty from an animal shelter who was used in fighting however that pitty was trained to love people now that dog lives in a good home and loves its trainer that proves pit bulls are not bad. I cant believe how stupid people are treating this breed this way. Its the idiot trainer! Not the breed!

the people who put dis like have no right to be called people, the dogs act more disect then them! god that pisses me off! i love dogs i have a pitbul we saved him from the streets after his dumb ass owner beat him up, and he was bloody all over, but now his my dads best friend, and his so cute!

Pitbulls were NEVER bred to be aggressive toward humans (maybe that's why Helen Keller's beloved pet was a Pitbull?). Yes, many pitbulls are aggressive toward other dogs and animals and many have a high prey drive. Knowledgeable, responsible owners are well aware of this. My dogs LOVE people, but I'm also aware of the fact that they possess a high prey drive. For that reason they are ALWAYS fenced and closely supervised. They live indoors---not chained/ignored outside.

i got my pit when she like 3 weeks and now she 2 years old and i love her to death but when i steal her toys she just wags her tail and somtimes it looks like she trying to talk to me because of the way she barks at me, pitbulls are amazing dogs
