  • now you simply import your rendered 3d footage into after effects and begin final compositing like creating the muzzle flash and the focal blur.

    that sure wasn't the most detailled way to explain what i did, but it might help you to get what you want.

  • hey guys,

    actually it isn't that hard. you need to shoot yourself triggering the gun or something. the next step is setting up a 3d environment of surrounding scenery. use your camera and take several shots panning the camera several degrees after taking a shot. once you set up your 3d environment, you use C4D to model and animate the bullet. once thats done, render it out using the built in setting "compositing project file" and save it as an after effects composition.
