Animal rights activists shout abuse at tourists, families, and couples on Valentines Day at Central Park. They are escorted by armed aspca officers.
The officers stand by and allow verbal abuse of passers by in Horse Drawn Carriages, while trying to silence any retorts from drivers or passengers as their camera man filmed the scene. One passenger who complained of the verbal onslaught was told by an officer that it was "freedom of speech"! When does their "freedom of speech" become others "harassment"?
The general public dosen't have a private milita who they can "donate to" and have their bidding done.

  • I ve seen that police officer before! hes a dick!

  • He used to be a cop, now he's an aspca officer. He gives me the shhhhh sign , yet allows the petaRDS to continue shouting abuse! Fair and even handed policing !?

  • The exchange below is atypical. petaRDS have little or no info lots of anger don't think there is any side to the story only theirs. refuse to see the difference between use and abuse are holier than thou, they are ALL vegans, yeah right when questioned will resort to cursing verbal abuse, can never back up their argument, are loners, usualy childless and single, aren't into "people' causes (self haters) & don't know their idealism was first made into law by Adolf Hitler in 1934.

  • Gee, that's one of the "cops" from Animal Precinct on Animal Planet. He should be ashamed. I didn't know the ASPCA supported people abuse and harassment. I just found all these videos- better late than never. How awful for those poor drivers and their horses to have all those people shouting and waving signs in their faces.

  • theses people are complete retards!! and those police officers are stupid and should be fired. those stupid idiots. i think your business is great! :) I'd love to go to a place that has carriage rides. :)

  • Woooowwww I feel so embarrassed for the ASPCA! I'm so sorry you had to go through this! To your credit I think you handled it very well! I just hope fanatics don't discourage people in you'r business from following all the laws protecting the horses, I do think that the city should make an exclusive lane for carriages because what if a drunk driver crashes with a horse! I mean people are pretty irresponsible, a cop crashed my car yesterday!! But aside from that I think you are doing a good job

  • PETA needs to be kick in the teeth! I've watch videos from both sides and found that PETA clips are old. The NYC horses are being cared for better than alot of humans in that city, PETA this is for you bunch of ugly hores that need to get a face make over! Get a life, get laid, get horse shit pie for lunch, get a real job, get arrested for harassment, and last but not least go find real abuse where it's needed like over sea????

  • I have watched several of your videos & admire & applaud you for standing up to the facists amongst us. I've been to NYC only once when I was 13 (over 30 years ago - where does the time go?) & the two things I remember most vividly is seeing "Annie" and Grease on Broadway, & the carriage ride in Central Park. If I ever visit NYC again, rest assured I want another carriage ride.

Oh yeah, can you recomend a good restaurant? One that serves foei gras? I really love foie gras.

  • when i looked at that fat aspca officer, i was sure he was thinkin "I need a burger" lol

  • i keep and breed horses here in ireland , we saw these horses when we visit ny earlier this year ,they are realy well looked after and in top condition, they were enjoying their walk around central park, most of these protesters no nothing about horses or their requirements ,mabe they would like the horses be left in a field eating all day ,doing no exercise and develop laminitis .

  • You handled these psychos masterfully. And although the ASPCA open carries, no one should be intimidated by them, if they step out of line then like any other police officer they can be charged for false arrest/police brutality.

  • i don't see what's wrong with driving horses at high temperatures, as long as they have enough water, they're fine!!! i mean serious guys! calm down!

  • that aint right what their doin they gotta stop it
