This was my first RC helicopter build. In order to test mechanics & electronics I strapped the entire heli onto a pivoting bar stool. Throttle was applied gradually and servos were exercised to prove functionality. Reading the comments, this was probably not a safe configuration as resonant vibrations can tear the heli apart. It also places great strain on various components if pitch angle is greater than 0 deg. The red/white bag is full of loose change to prevent bar stool from taking off.

  • search for "ground resonance" and you will know why this isn't the best idea.

  • nice stand, did you use a swivel bar stool?????

  • Pointles unless you want make some noise.

  • yea u shouldve kept out of the positive pitch as u will burn out ur motor faster this way, otherwise good test setup.
