@1314KAL I'm going to be on it for 5 months she increased the dosage I am currently on 30 mg's and I think I am going on 40 mg's or 60.I am on my second month going on my third I am not seeing results but I heard it takes the whole 5 months or atleast until the 3rd month kind of.Let's see what happends.How many mg's were you on?

I am starting on 20 mg then going on 40, I am guessing it's because of my height and weight right? I'm 5'5 and weigh 113 lbs so is that a reasonable dosage?

Well, I was 5'5'' as well (well still am) and 120 pounds. So I was almost in the same boat as you. It's probably just the dermatologist you have. Maybe he or she wants to start you off on a smaller dose to see how you react. As for a reasonable dosage, it's all relative to who your asking. I was on my same dosage the entire time. How long are you going to be on Accutane for? That could also be another factor as to why the dermatologist put you on a smaller does to start with.

sorry, forgot to say. broke out the first 4 weeks. with the initial breakout. and im on 40mg a day. 20mg x2 a day. yeh and im on duac gel aswell as accutane. make sure u inquire about it, if your breakouts woorry u that is. sorry for the double comment. good luck!!!!

Yeah I broke out during the first month too. Well, for me I take the 40mg x2 a day = 80 mg a day. Okay, I'll try to be more descriptive in my videos. No problem. Good luck to you too!!

mate im on accutane aswell. broke out for 4 weeks terribly. went to my derm cause i thought it wasnt gonna stop, and he prescribed me DUAC GEL, let me tell u bro, iv been on it 5 days, and im pretty much 100% clear. ask him if you can go on it aswell. it seriously works. i swear to u. try it asell!!!!!! good to know your backs fully clear.

Sounds like something I should go on for my breakouts too. I'll ask my dermatologist about it and get back to you. Thanks for the info and I'll keep everyone posted on my progress.
