  • can it follow flight plans from the MSFS default flight plane page?

  • I believe so, all you have to do is create and save one, and then load it up in the FMC... Think it'll pull it up if you just type in the same departure and arrival airports on the flight plan page.

Don't have FSX available to figure it out though so can't say for sure!

  • Hey Bob! I was conxidering some time ago about doing a PMDG guide one day for the MD11 which I so love to fly. But I am glad I didnt. Yours is great. Thank you for your time and efforts! I have one question... I know how to open the plane and then choose the Cold & dark panel. Is there a way to make the plane load automatically cold & dark? Thanks again! Tim

  • There isn't a way that I'm aware of... Don't have FS on this computer so I can't go figure it out either. Sorry!

    Glad you liked the videos!

  • IRS is really another scientific way for saying GPS initial set up

  • IRS and GPS aren't the same thing. IRS figures out where you are by using a starting point and adding up how long you've been going in whatever direction at whatever speed, GPS does it by talking to satellites.

  • I am hopping Santa will be dropping this beauty off this year :) - I use both the 737NGX and 747X and -8 by PMDG and with both those aircraft I use FSBuild for loading my flight plans. Can the FSBuild be used to load the flight plan into the MD-11 FMC?

    Thanks

  • Thanks bob !

  • Very nice vid;)

but when i have everything set up and press Autpilot and NAV it wont fly the route at ll. it just keeps flying straigt. help?

  • @celeritas5k IRS = Inertial Reference System. Inertial derives from the word Inertia. It uses a sensor that detects inertia. It can tell any time it changes acceleration in any direction. (ie turning left = Accelerating toward the left, Turbulence = accelerating upwards, downwards, back and forward at random). It was developed in the late 1940's. GPS requires sattelites in orbit. thus anything that happened before Sputnik has nothing to do with GPS.

  • Nice video....I was wondering if I can import flight that I've created on fsbuild??

  • can anyone tell me why the engines of pmdg md11 just turn hi when i climbing?
