@acnumber7 Ummm I think you are forgetting about that Rivera guy over in New York.

no matter what him and that song is a padres tradition

Gotta love hell's bells!!!! What an amazing player!!

I'm going to have to agree with apingebrig. As a Padres fan for life, I got goosebumps every time I heard hells bells. It's a long drawn out entry, and it helps really savor the save, the victory, and the fun of going out to the ball park. Enjoy Trevor!

we HAD the best closer ever. san diego will miss him
-
He has an opponent average of .139 and and ERA of 0.57. Amazing
-
We have the Best Closer ever. Period.

I was also at last night's game -- coolest thing I have seen at a baseball game. It reminded me a little of major league when the played "wild thing" when Charlie Sheen's character came in to pitch.

I went to the game last night, and as soon as Hoffman threw his last bullpen pitch, all the pitchers in the bullpen jumped off the bench and went to the fence to watch him pitch. The entire crowd stood and started clapping even before he was announced. He's off to an amazing start, and us Brewers fan are having a blast with the coolest player intro in MLB and the best reliever so far.

We Miss TREVOR. Hard to see a player for 15 years in the same uniform and then POOF he is gone. He is doing so well with the Brewers. I think it's the old adage... "CHANGE OF SCENERY" His time and energy were dwindling in SAN DIEGO. Look now. Heath Bell has 12 saves for the Padres. So you can say it has been a wash for the PADRES. Ironic... we San Diego has a closer with the name BELL. Yet we can't play Hells Bells....
I Could Care less Where favre goes hes just a media whore cry baby now anyway
